Chinese Food Industry has obtained world acknowledged achievements through 30-year reform, development and innovation. The food industry has become one of the most important pillar industries of Chinese national economy. To meet the opportunities and challenges of economic globalization, strengthen the core competitiveness of Chinese food enterprises and their products, promote the international communication and trade development between national and international food industry, CCPIT (China Council for the Promotion of International Trade) Sub-Council of Light Industry and China National Food Industry (Group) Corp. will together organize the “2008 China International Food Expo” in National Agriculture Exhibition Center•Beijing from December 23 to 25, 2008. China International Food Expo 2008 is an international grand event for Chinese food industry to completely carry out the spirit of the 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, persist in scientific and sustainable development, create and build international famous food brand, and advocate the food safety. The expo will attach great importance to the industry upgrade, technology and equipment improvement, and create a communication platform to show the producing technology and products in order to push forward the trading cooperation and mutual development between national and international enterprises.
